Day 53

Puppies and play just seem to go together. Whether it's fetching a ball, chasing a toy, tugging a rope, or running after a bird, play is a big part of a puppy's life!
Day 52

That warm feeling you get when you hold your puppy for the first time is the start of bonding. It usually doesn't take long to realise that you belong to each other

19 June 2006 - Day 43

Puppies are hyperactive, they begin to bark, wag tails, bite, paw, bare teeth, growl and chase

Use legs well and tire easily. They are eating kibbles and even drinking from the water bowl following their mommy...
27 May 2006 - Day 20

puppies are healthy and playful. they drink lotsa milk from mommy and pee alot too. Their legs are not strong but can walk pretty well and do lotsa crawling around too!
1st night - nursing

1st night at home...look at Guinevere. She's panting heavily, must be very tired after labour

Me and my puppies

Hi all! I'm starting this dog weblog to record the growth progress of my puppies.

Looking back....
I became restless the night before labour, started to pant and dig in the garden. I had to pee every hour and can really feel the babies kicking. It lasted til the next afternoon before the contractions started. After just a few contractions (which took a couple of hours)I was send to the vet coz my dear mother has a history of caesarean birth for all her litters so they thought i wasn't gonna make it too. But the babies popped out fast when we got to the hospital! There are 5 of them! Oh my gosh! I was thinking of maybe a couple or 3 at the most.

Fast forward....
Yeah they are like 6 1/2 week old now, so check back often to just fill some time while you should be doing something else ..heeh
